Seeking experienced furniture store office manager for large New York City furniture store. The individual we seek will have previous experience in managing small to medium sized business in the areas of accounting, data processing, and general administration. Applicant must:
-Have at least 2 years of office/operations management in retail
-Have advanced computer knowledge especially within furniture retail systems such as GERS, Profit Systems, and Storis
-Have excellent phone etiquette
-Have a college degree or greater
Duties Include:
-Effectively managing an office staff of 6 people
-Communicating with various departmental managers to ensure efficient processes
-Handling various customer service issues to ensure the highest possible level of service
-Maintaining inventory, purchase orders, sales orders, deliveries and more within our retail management system to ensure accuracy of data
-Assisting sales staff in entering of sales orders if necessary to ensure accuracy of data
